What the developer line is

The developer line is the name under which a store distributes an app. Google Play calls it the developer; the App Store calls it the seller or provider. It sits next to the install button, and it is a fact about the listing, not a licence and not a statement about who holds a trading account.

Reading the names

Several names on one brand's listings is not unusual for a store; this page reports the names and leaves the question of their relationship to the account documents.

A difference between two rows is stated once, in the table, and left without comment: two listings are two pages, and the ledger does not rank them.

The links and lines the pages add

FxPro: Trading & Investing gives a website on fxpro.investments, an e-mail address at fxpro.com, a privacy policy on fxpro.com. FxPro Global: Trading Broker gives a website on probroker.financial, an e-mail address at pro.group, a privacy policy on fxpro.com.

These are the links as the pages give them. A domain a developer attaches to a listing is a public fact that can be compared with the domain of the broker's own site, www.fxpro.com.

A search for “fxpro” in the Pakistan App Store

Asked for “fxpro” in the Pakistan storefront on 6 November 2026, the App Store's public search returned 22 results; 3 have FxPro in the title and 1 of those are published under a developer name other than Pro Global Ltd and FxPro Group Limited. Only the counts are given here; the search is public and can be repeated.

Listings that did not answer

Not every address read answered with a page. In the Pakistan view, the App Store address for 1560667652 (answer: not in this storefront). A listing that does not answer is reported as not found in that view and is left out of the tables of figures; it says nothing about whether the app exists in another country or on another store.

A routine a reader can repeat

A short routine: open the store page from a link you trust, read the developer line, read the identifier, and compare both with the account documents you are given if you open an account. None of it needs an account or a payment.

What this page does not cover

This page covers one family of facts. The other pages of this site cover Ratings, Versions, Requirements and Data declarations. Nothing here comes from inside an app: no account was created, no identity document entered, no deposit made, no order placed, and the screens behind a login are not described.

Reader questions

Before you tap install

Where on the store page is the developer named?

Under the title on both stores: Google Play prints the developer name, the App Store prints the provider.

Does the developer name say who holds my account?

No. It says under which name the app is distributed. Account documents say who holds an account.

Why does this page print identifiers?

A title can be copied; the package name or bundle identifier is what keeps two readings of the same listing comparable.

Can I check this myself?

Yes. Open the store pages named in the source line under each table; no account is needed.

The trading account

An app page is not an account

What these pages read is the store's side: the listing. Opening a live account is a separate step with the broker, with identity checks and rules about sending money abroad that sit outside any app. Read the broker page before you decide, and do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
